Created by artist Sean Campbell in 1999, and was used for the first time in a pride edition of GLT magazine in 2000.

The Feather Drag Pride flag is a symbol for the Drag community, encompassing all forms of drag no matter the gender. The phoenix represents rebirth, symbolizing how the drag community contributed to saving lives since the early days of the HIV/AIDs epidemic, by raising funds for research for lifesaving healthcare.
